Three main areas
Our goal is to cooperate with God for the fulfillment of His eternal purpose (Eph. 3:11). This involves helping believers to grow in their Christian life and helping non-Christians to understand what it means to be a Christian. Specifically, we focus on three main areas:
Life practices
Helping students to develop their personal relationship with the Lord that they may grow in Christ unto maturity.
Education
Helping students to see and apprehend the truths revealed in the Bible.
Service
Providing students with opportunities to serve others and develop as functioning members of the Body of Christ.
Philly Christian Students is comprised of believers in Christ from Penn, Temple, Drexel, Villanova and other Philadelphia-area campuses — a registered student organization at Penn since the mid-1990s and at Temple since 2009. Our activities run from small group gatherings and weekly Bible studies to semi-annual mountain retreats.
